Rudridge gears up to sponsor BMX team
Groundwork specialists Rudridge in Gravesend have confirmed that they will be renewing their sponsorship of the Haro 365 BMX racing team in 2016.
The team of extreme riders which is gearing up for the World Championships in Colombia includes both male and female competitors – some as young as seven years old. The team regularly tours and contends in regional, national and international competitions.
Several of the bikers rank in the UK top ten for their category and are hoping for victory at the international tournament taking place at the Medellin circuit in Colombia from 25th to 29th May.
The team’s local track is at Cyclopark in Gravesend and some of the dedicated Haro 365 racers travel from as far as Scotland to join the team.
Bryan Potter who works for Tony Kirwan Contractors Ltd – a customer of Rudridge Gravesend - manages the riders and has been involved since HARO 365 BMX formed in 2012. He says:
“We’re thrilled that Rudridge are renewing their sponsorship of the team. We have a calendar full of competitions to look forward to so it’s going to be an exciting year. We have a very talented team so we’re aiming for a successful year in racing, and it’s great to have the support of Rudridge on our side.”
Richard Milton, Branch Manager at Rudridge in Gravesend, added:
“As a firm we have a great love of sport and aim to support local teams in the Gravesend area. We are delighted to be renewing our sponsorship of the Haro 365 BMX team. We wish them all the best of luck for the 2016 season.”
The Rudridge logo will feature on the team’s new kit.
