Advanced 365 at THINK Cloud for Digital Government
Leading managed service provider Advanced 365 (Advanced) is one of the key sponsors of the THINK Cloud for Digital Government 2016 conference at Westminster’s QEII Centre on 22nd March.
Advanced will showcase its range of solutions for the public sector, which includes mission-critical support, managed services and hosting at the event.
Now in its fifth year, the event features keynote talks, discussions and supplier case studies from those involved in cloud computing in the public sector, providing insight and support to both buyers and suppliers. Delegates will also learn more about the Digital Marketplace and G-Cloud frameworks for public sector procurement.
Advanced has a long history of supporting public sector organisations to achieve efficiencies, with customers including Tideway, National Employment Savings Trust (NEST), NHS Monitor, HS1 and London Borough of Hackney.
Advanced 365 was also recently awarded a place on G-Cloud 7, the Government’s latest cloud procurement framework. G-Cloud was launched in 2012 and aims to promote the adoption of cloud-based software applications in central government and the wider public sector in order to improve performance levels and reduce IT costs. Total G-Cloud sales reached £904m at the end of November*.
As the Government’s drive towards the digitisation of public services continues, the THINK Cloud conference has established itself as the must-attend event for IT professionals, department heads and decision makers within local and central government organisations.
Neil Cross, Managing Director of Advanced 365, says, “Cloud computing is playing an increasingly central role in the push for greater digitisation and efficiency in the public sector. While much progress has been made in this area, there is still a long road ahead, particularly in local government.
“THINK Cloud is a great opportunity for those who work in public sector IT to share best practice and gain insights from leading industry figures. We are delighted to be sponsoring the event and to have the opportunity to communicate the benefits of our managed service solutions to public sector buyers.”
Speakers at this year’s conference include Matthew Hancock MP, Minister for the Cabinet Office; Stephen Foreshaw-Cain, Executive Director of the Government Digital Service; and Stuart Lauchlan, Editor and co-founder of diginomica.com.
