Knight Frank strengthens property management team

The Leeds office of global property consultancy Knight Frank has strengthened its Property and Asset Management team with the appointment of Amy Scales.

Amy joins Knight Frank from CBRE in Leeds. She also worked at DTZ and Carter Towler in the city, having studied at Sheffield Hallam University and the University of Sheffield.

Amy commented: “It was an easy decision to move to Knight Frank because they are such a well-regarded firm both locally and nationally. This was an excellent chance to join their strong Property Management and Asset team in Yorkshire and I look forward to contributing to the team’s success.”

“I have worked with a diverse variety of property portfolios dealing with national investment funds and pension trusts alongside local private client work and will continue to do so with Knight Frank.

“I will be helping to look after significant portfolio portfolios for leading Yorkshire developers such as Sterling Capitol and investment clients such as Addington Capital and Peveril Securities Ltd. I will also be assisting with new business generation, identifying target properties and potential clients order to try and expand our client base,” she added.

Henrie Westlake, head of Knight Frank in Leeds, said: “Amy is a valuable addition to our team. Her expertise and experience in the Yorkshire property market will help to further improve our property and asset management service to our clients.”

Meanwhile Michael Lewis has joined Knight Frank as a partner in the Property Asset Management team based in the firm’s global HQ at 55 Baker Street. Michael was previously at CBRE for seven years where he was head of Fund Mandates within their Asset Services Division, acting on behalf of CBRE Global Investors, Picton Capital, Deka Immobile GmbH and Orchard Street Investment Management.
