Steljes Rentals celebrates its first standalone year

London, UK – 1 March 2016: Audio visual & IT rental specialist, Steljes Rental Ltd, part of the Steljes Group of companies, has marked its first year as trading as a standalone business with record growth and a substantial increase in its corporate client base.

The company, which started operating as an independent organisation in October 2014, has been profitable every month in its first year, with turnover increasing by 30 per cent and gross profit climbing by 35 per cent, during the 12 month period.

Steljes Rental Ltd has developed a proven record of delivering innovative technologies to corporate clients to enhance the way their conferences, meetings, and indoor and outdoor events are held. The company’s product range is consistently evolving to incorporate the latest stimulating and engaging solutions, which are tailored towards the specific needs of the corporate rental market.

The company currently has more than 135 clients and during the last twelve months has rented its solutions to a multitude of conferences, meeting and events across the globe – from large organisations in the US, to short and long term rentals to businesses across the UK and Europe.

Complementing the services and products offered by innovative technology distributor, Steljes Limited, the AV and IT rental company can deliver exclusive solutions, from the latest SMART technology products, to projectors and video walls, and more specific requests for products such as iPads and mobile devices.

Steljes Rental Ltd offers a range of services to its rental clients, catering for short-term rental for equipment in meeting spaces and conferences in ‘try before you buy’ schemes, right through to its brand new range of ‘proof of concept’ services to help clients make informed decisions prior to purchase.

The recently launched ‘proof of concept’ offering allows clients and resellers to rent over a longer term period, for example, three months, and during that time Steljes Rental will provide user adoption consultancy, training days and a complete managed service around the products. The company can deliver advice and expertise and help businesses assess whether the solution may work as a more long term investment in the future. Since Steljes Rental launched the initiative, it has taken on 25 fully supported proof of concept contracts for a range of large corporate clients.

Steljes Extend, is another new service that has been launched during the company’s inaugural year – which incorporates either 12, 24 and 36 month rental deals on products for the corporate market. The service has proven to be a popular choice for clients who do not have the available budget to make outright investments, and appreciate the convenience of having a fully managed service.

Andy Horn, managing director, Steljes Rental Ltd says: “The corporate marketplace makes up 95 per cent of our business, and with the rapid advancements in technology many clients do not want to risk buying the technology that may be superseded a year later. The Steljes Extend service will enable organisations to have their technology refreshed and updated within a specific time period.

“These new initiatives mark a very successful first year for our business. Our service has proven to be unique in so many ways as all of our solutions are based around the clients’ individual needs. For example, if they express an interest in a particular solution we can look into the feasibility of including it within our product range. In fact, we recently added 400 iPad Air 2’s into our portfolio in response to specific client demands.
