FinTech Hello Soda set to revolutionise hiring process

FinTech firm Hello Soda has tailored its revolutionary data analytics platform to give businesses a unique insight into potential employees.

Created by a team of data scientists and software engineers, Hello Soda’s big data platform PROFILE allows organisations to use technology to help make better, data-driven hiring decisions and pre-screen candidates prior to interview.

With 80% of all CVs classed as misleading, 30% of businesses failing due to employee theft and an expected employee turnover rate of 18% by 2018, it has never been more important for companies to ensure they are hiring the right staff.

James Blake, CEO and founder of Hello Soda, said: “More data has been generated in the last two years than in the rest of human history, yet less than 0.5% is ever analysed or used. We saw this hugely wasted potential and decided to do something about it.

“Our unique data analytics capability unlocks the value contained inside social and unstructured data. The software takes millions of records from an individual’s digital footprint, condenses them, and presents them in a number of scores relevant to our customer’s industry. So, for the first time ever, businesses can truly benefit from the power of big data.”

Using their bespoke PROFILE platform, employers will now be able to gain a real-time snapshot of their prospective employee and their lifestyle. This will enable them to verify ID, view true employment history, reduce employee turnover and tailor their contact strategies. It will also highlight absenteeism, demonstrate employability and streamline the hiring process.

Blake added: “Many new world companies are continuing to use old world data, resulting in poorer business decisions and processes. Being able to access previously untapped data and create unique insights through comprehensive real-time analysis will revolutionise the employment process.”
