Liverpool FC to launch new club store
A planning application submitted by Liverpool FC has outlined proposals for a new club store at Anfield.
The Reds are seeking outline planning permission for a purpose-built shop facing onto Walton Breck Road within the expanded Main Stand.
Plans for the store, which would include a first-floor café and overhanging canopy roof, are set to go before Liverpool City Council’s planning committee later this year.
The new scheme will be incorporated into the full planning permission for the wider Main Stand expansion via a separate application.
The multi-million pound project to increase capacity and boost the amenities at Anfield is on target for completion in 2016, according to the club.
