Anaplan unveils updated App Hub experience

Anaplan, the enterprise planning cloud company, today announced a new Anaplan App Hub that provides users with a beautiful, streamlined experience for finding and deploying planning apps across the entire enterprise. The company also announced new platform developments that optimise apps functionality to enable faster and more agile app building.

The newly designed Anaplan App Hub, a community dedicated to business planning, offers an enhanced experience for exploring, sharing, and sampling over 100 industry-tailored apps. The intuitive navigation and rich, engaging content allow users to quickly understand the unique benefits of each app. Customers can activate apps with one click, bringing them closer to solutions that solve myriad planning challenges.

“With the new Anaplan App Hub, we are furthering our goal to deliver exceptional service to users leveraging Anaplan apps to drive their businesses by the numbers,” said Chief Product Officer Simon Tucker. “In our App Hub, users can find an enhanced experience for selecting and sharing intellectual property, which is a major shift in the way enterprise planning software is developed and consumed.”

Launched in 2014, the Anaplan App Hub allows customers and partners to synthesise and model business data. Users can choose and share apps for planning across a range of business functions—Finance, HR, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and IT—or easily build custom apps without having to use source code.

Today, the company also announced its latest platform enhancements, including improved tools for app-builders such as shortcuts, data visualisations, and other helpful features.

Tucker explained that Anaplan’s App Hub and cloud-based modeling platform provide an ecosystem for the company’s 400 plus world-class customers and global partner network. “To fuel this ecosystem, we are constantly innovating new platform developments to optimise Anaplan Apps—and ultimately enable faster and better planning decisions across the enterprise.”
