Bilfinger GVA acquires final Stadium Park plot in Wakefield
Bilfinger GVA has acquired the final plot at Stadium Park, Wakefield Europort on behalf of client Pelican Engineering Group.
The site extends to just over an acre and is set to be transformed into a new coach showroom and repair facility for the group’s Yutong bus and coach business.
The site is strategically located just off junction 31 of the M62 and perfectly compliments Pelican’s existing business on Altofts Lane and Pope Street nearby.
Iain McPhail, associate at Bilfinger GVA who advised Pelican, said: “As soon as we identified that Stadium Park was available, we knew that it would be an ideal site for our client. The acquisition further emphasises that their business is going from strength to strength.”
Richard Crump, managing director at Pelican, added: “Even though the site is very close to our existing facilities we did not know it was for sale until Bilfinger GVA brought it to our attention. It’s a perfect fit for us.”
