Construction work starts on new homes in Colburn
Construction work has started on an exclusive new residential development in Colburn.
The foundations of 47 properties are being laid off Catterick Road in Colburn following the acquisition of derelict land by Persimmon Homes Teesside.
The development will comprise a mix of three and four-bedroom detached and semi-detached dwellings with a sales presence expected in February and the first legal completions due April 2016.
Joan Peart, head of sales for Persimmon Homes Teesside, said: “The site at Colburn is in a great location and our plans will ensure that a range of homes are developed to support the demand in the area.
“We’ve been actively building homes in the North East of England for a number of years and this latest deal is testament to our commitment to further extending our operations.
“Persimmon Homes has a great reputation for delivering quality, affordable homes and we’re sure the local community will benefit from the increased number of houses available.”
