Manchester-based NJL Consulting to drive growth with second office
North West firm NJL Consulting has announced plans to expand with a second office in Yorkshire.
Following client growth in the region over the past 12 months, the Manchester-based planning consultancy has said it will open a new office at Park House in Park Square West, Leeds.
The firm’s managing director, Nick Lee, said: “We’ve done a lot of work across Yorkshire over the years so it makes sense for us to have a second base in the heart of the region and Leeds is a great central location for us.
“We’ve been working across the whole Northern Powerhouse region for over a decade and the time is right for NJL to establish a permanent presence in Yorkshire.”
Last year, NJL worked with the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation District and the Moor retail quarter in Sheffield, as well as the NHS in Leeds.
NJL director Rob Crolla commented: “Leeds is home to some of the UK’s most talented planning and property professionals and serves a national market.
“This is an exciting time for NJL Consulting as it seeks to capitalise on this talent pool and growing market confidence.”
He added: “Leeds is the perfect place for NJL to expand its business.”
Rob Crolla, who has led on projects for national firms such as Sainsbury’s and Sports Direct, joined NJL recently from Indigo Planning, a consultancy with offices in Manchester, Leeds and elsewhere in the UK.
Nick Pleasant, also formerly of Indigo Planning, will be posted at NJL’s new Leeds office as a senior planner.
