Brentford business delivers Easter egg-citement to local charity
Rudridge in Brentford has delivered 50 Easter eggs to local children’s charity Shooting Star Chase Children’s Hospice in Hampton.
The team at the civil engineering and groundwork material specialists, located on Transport Avenue, bought a range of Easter eggs for the children at Shooting Star Chase and their families.
Shooting Star Chase provides expert care for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, supporting families from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement. Their services include a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care and cost the charity £10 million a year to maintain.
Sylvia La Porte, Corporate Relationship Manager at Shooting Star Chase, commented:
“Easter is a special time for all families, including the families we care for of course. Thanks to our lovely supporters like Rudridge the children will receive an extra treat this Easter, which will help to put a smile on their faces.”
Anthony Betteridge, Branch Manager at Rudridge Brentford, added:
“Shooting Star Chase is an amazing charity that provides vital care to the local community. We are very proud to be supporting such a great cause and we hope that our donation helps to give the children and their families a lovely Easter.”
