Liverpool FC reveal artist impressions of new Main Stand facilities
Liverpool FC have unveiled a series of CGIs showcasing facilities coming to Anfield as part of the Main Stand expansion.
The visuals, released today (March 11) on the official LFC website, show two new concourses complete with wall graphics reflecting the club’s history using old matchday programme-style lettering.
According to the club, the new areas have been inspired by the architecture at Anfield, as well as the maritime and industrial heritage of the city.
TV screens located throughout the Main Stand’s social areas, meanwhile, will allow supporters to access club content before the match.
On track for completion later this year, the Main Stand development includes three tiers, a wider player tunnel, new team benches, a media platform and a new club store.
The Reds are about the embark on the biggest recruitment drive in their 124-year history, creating around 1,000 new jobs before the expanded Main Stand opens next season.
