Magicard partnership to treble printer sales for Stockport firm Digital ID
Security system supplier Digital ID is hoping to treble sales of Magicard-branded printers with its latest partnership.
Having teamed up with Magicard to become a Master Distributor of the manufacturer’s identification card printer range, the Stockport-based firm has forecast sales of the products to rise by 200% over the coming 12 months.
Last year, the company’s sales rose by 22%, marking the fourth year running in which Digital ID has achieved growth over 20%.
Founded in 1990, today the company has a turnover of more than £10m.
Digital ID’s managing director, Jonathan Fell, said: “The new partnership is a great achievement for the business and recognition of the growth, product innovation and hard work by our fantastic team.
“Our printer sales figures have grown rapidly year on year and now make up 12.7% of our overall turnover.”
He added: “We are excited to be working closely with the Magicard team and their new products.”
