Strata Homes Yorkshire acquires new homes development in Doncaster
One of the last remaining areas for development at Chase Park, Redhouse Interchange, Doncaster, has been sold to Strata Homes Yorkshire.
Redhouse Interchange is a 200-acre, mixed-use development located off junction 38 of the A1(M).
The site is home to distribution centres for companies including Asda, DFS, Next and B&Q, alongside office and leisure scheme Chase Park.
Redhouse Projects, a joint venture between Valad and Clugston Estates. developed Redhouse Interchange.
Langleys Solicitors and Bielby Associates advised Redhouse Projects on the sale of a six-acre plot on Chase Park, which has planning permission for 85 homes.
Tim Cross, head of commercial property at Langleys, said: “Redhouse Interchange is a major strategic site and the residential scheme at Chase Park represents a significant milestone in progressing the full development of the site.
“The commercial property market has started brightly this year, both from an acquisition and lease perspective and we anticipate more major deals coming to fruition as confidence among developers continues to grow.”
Nick Child, a director of Redhouse Projects, added: “We are now only left with a 17-acres distribution site and a plot for a hotel/pub left to develop.”
