Unita Maintain on track for record growth

Sheffield based cleaning specialist Unita Maintain is on track to secure growth of 100% during the next twelve months as the business continues to expand. A combination of new contract wins in existing markets as well as a move into new areas such as security services is expected to result in the firm securing an annual turnover of £6million during 2016/17. For a firm that was established only four years ago, growth and success at Unita Maintain has been very rapid. As a result, the company has secured a funding deal with RBS Invoice Finance which has been designed to support its ongoing business strategy, enabling it to sustain this level of expansion with increased confidence. Introduced by the company’s Relationship Manager Steve Mayor at NatWest, RBS Invoice Finance has provided Unita Maintain with a £1m Invoice Discounting line. The facility is designed to support working capital, freeing up funds from the sales ledger to aid liquidity and boost cash flow. Based in Sheffield, Unita Maintain provides a comprehensive buildings maintenance service to a diverse range of customers. These services include contract cleaning, window cleaning, carpet and upholstery cleaning, void/site clearance, grounds maintenance, a handyman service and a full Planned Preventative Maintenance service. The firm also has a second office also in Wakefield which provides support to customers located further North. John Chidlaw, Director at Unita Maintain Limited, said: “I am pleased with the success that we have achieved since establishing Unita Maintain. Growth has been extremely positive and as we continue to move into new markets we expect that this will continue to rise. “The facility we have secured from RBS Invoice Finance is an integral part of our ongoing growth strategy and will help to support the business as we continue to expand. I have been really impressed with the teams at RBS Invoice Finance and NatWest. They both worked together to organise our funding in a very short timeframe and have gone the extra mile to support our business.” Kevin Burrows, Commercial Business Development Manager at RBS Invoice Finance, said: “Unita Maintain has achieved fantastic growth during the last four years and I am pleased that we are able to support the business during the latest stage of its development. This is a very exciting time for the company.”
