Wilton Centre connection helps House of Type to win NEPIC contract

Regional cluster organisation NEPIC has appointed Teesside advertising agency House of Type (HoT) to fulfill its graphic design requirements for the next 12 months.

The appointment, which resulted from a need to cover the maternity leave of NEPIC’s in-house designer, enables the organisation to utilise the skills of House of Type’s four graphic designers as well as the skills of the agency’s web team.

NEPIC is a membership organisation working with the region’s chemical-processing sector companies to generate growth and jobs.

HoT MD, Dave Marshall, explained that the fact that both HoT and NEPIC are based at the Wilton Centre helped to seal the deal. The firm relocated from central Middlesbrough to the 75 acre Redcar business and science park in the spring of 2015.

Dave said: “As well as being able to provide the range of skills NEPIC needs at a high level, being neighbours in the Centre makes briefings and decision-making as convenient as it could be.

“We are really pleased with this opportunity to work with NEPIC and add another prestigious client to our list and we are looking forward to working with their team.”

NEPIC’s PR & Communications Manager, Louise Gwynne-Jones, commented on the company’s latest partnership.

She said: “We are thrilled to be working with yet another NEPIC member company in support of our activities - and practicing what we preach here at the cluster by utilising our extensive network and keeping it local.

“I very much look forward to working with the team at HoT over the coming year and am excited about how together we can develop the NEPIC brand further.”
