New 15-home development on former Barnsley allotment site brought to market
Property and real estate adviser CBRE has brought to market a new development site which has planning permission for 15 homes.
The 1.1 acre site, which was formerly an allotment, is located on Royston Lane in Barnsley, which is the main road running through the village of Royston and sits within an established residential area with local amenities nearby.
Planning permission is already in place for the construction of 15 detached and semi-detached houses which will support housing requirements in the former mining village.
Richard Hunter, part of CBRE’s Leeds Residential and Investment team, said: “The Royston Lane site offers potential buyers the opportunity to purchase strategically positioned land with planning already in place for 15 houses.
“Due to the excellent location of the site on the main route into Royston and close to Barnsley, we anticipate high interest from a number of parties.”
