Story Homes scores five-star customer satisfaction rating

Housebuilder Story Homes, which is currently enjoying significant growth in the North East, has scooped a five-star rating for customer satisfaction at a prestigious industry award for the third year in a row.

Over 80,500 house-buyers across the country took part in the survey by the Home Builders Federation (HBF) and the National House Building Council (NHBC). Story Homes received an outstanding satisfaction rate of over 90 per cent, compared with the industry average of just 86 per cent. More than nine in 10 customers said they would recommend Story Homes to a friend.

Story Homes surpassed many of its competitors with a five-star rating – the highest achievable accolade – which is becoming increasingly difficult to achieve. Only 13 other national housebuilding companies were awarded five stars, while 17 picked up the four-star rating.

After a record year of growth, Story Homes has more than doubled the number of staff at its North East base, Panther House, with five active schemes across the region - including award-winning development The Woodlands at Shotley Bridge - and a number of upcoming developments in the pipeline.

The award was presented to Story Homes on Thursday17 March at an event in London held by the HBF and warranty provider NHBC.
