Stylus opens new barber shop in Salisbury
In the six months since opening, upmarket Salisbury barbershop Stylus has got off to a flying start, with customer numbers exceeding expectations and the company looking to take on two new members of staff.
Supported by the Royal Bank of Scotland, the contemporary barber shop, which is located at 120 Fisherton Street has developed a strong following in the local community, thanks to its trademark offering of cutting edge hairstyles alongside a more regular cut.
Stylus was established in September 2015 by barber and stylist Scott Knox and his partner David Campbell. The company is supported by the Royal Bank of Scotland who has provided day to day banking facilities and WorldPay which offers secure card payment services to small businesses.
Scott Knox, Owner of Stylus, said: “Stylus has really taken off and we are pleased at how quickly the salon has established itself. We have developed a great client base and it is fantastic to have so many local regulars coming in each week. The business has performed really positively as a result and I am in the process of recruiting two new members of staff.
“Royal Bank of Scotland has been really supportive of our business and the facilities we have with the bank are excellent.”
Iain Crichton, Bank Manager at the Royal Bank of Scotland Salisbury branch, said: “It’s great to see a local business opening on the high street and performing so well. Scott and David have worked really hard to get Stylus up and running, the shop has been immaculately refurbished and I am really pleased that we have been involved in supporting a local start-up business.”
