Stanford Ignite programme returns to London seeking entrepreneurs and innovators

Stanford Graduate School of Business is looking for applicants for its second Stanford Ignite programme in London.

Due to begin in September, the programme is the California-based university’s second to take place in the capital and consists of a 10 week part-time programme taught by professors from the school’s world-renowned MBA qualification.

The programme aims to give successful entrepreneurs and innovators the chance to experience the same kind of hands-on instruction that the university’s graduate students experience, and will provide exposure to the fundamentals of management and practical aspects relating to the growth of a business.

Attendees will also get the chance to grow their professional network with mentors and industry leaders from the UK and Silicon Valley.

However, the experience does not come cheap, with attendees required to stump up $10,000 (approx £7,000) in tuition fees.

The ten-week course will be based in Canary Wharf and follows last year’s inaugural Stanford Ignite programme, which included entrepreneurs from the likes of ASOS, BP and Marks and Spencer.

Over the last eight years, the Ignite programme has seen the 125-year old education institution export its in-demand business courses to the likes of Bangalore, Sao Paolo and Beijing, educating over 1,000 students across the word.

Potential applicants have until 2 June to apply for a place on the programme.
