AO World forecasts revenue growth across UK and European operations
AO World plc, the domestic appliances retailer, has forecast growth across the business for the 12 months to March 31.
The Bolton-based firm is expecting to achieve an EBITDA of around £17m and revenue growth of about 18.5% for its UK operations.
The company’s main ecommerce platform, AO.com, is predicted to deliver revenue growth of around 27% for the 12-month period.
At the beginning of March, AO World began trading in the Netherlands, a move that is expected to drive revenue increases across the firm’s European business, where the EBITDA is forecast to be ahead of the firm’s original expectations.
Later this year, AO World will move into a new regional distribution centre in Bergheim, Germany, after which it will seek to boost volume growth.
In January, the company shed light on the success of its AO.com platform over the Black Friday weekend, which helped it achieve year-on-year revenue growth of 35% in the three months to December 2015.
