Free parking for shoppers this month!
Free parking for customers this month is the latest random act of kindness from a local shopping centre.
At the start of the year, the Alhambra Shopping Centre in Barnsley launched its yearlong campaign to give something back to local residents, and this month members of the management staff will be paying for customers parking at random from the 18th April.
This latest offer, comes after a string of other customer based random acts of kindness in the centre.
Alongside pre planned special activities over the course of the year, the centre is asking for nominations from the public about an individual, group or club that would really appreciate a random act of kindness and the reasons behind the nominations.
The centre has nomination boxes placed throughout the mall and nominations can also be made online via www.alhambracentre.co.uk.
Alhambra marketing manager Steph Higham explains: “This is the first time the shopping centre has ever looked at a yearlong campaign of this nature and we are all really excited about it. We wanted to do something a little extra in 2016 for our customers.
“The free parking random act is the third in a string of activities following other seasonal promotions and will run all week from Monday 18th April.”
