Simply Factoring Brokers Expands

Simply Factoring Brokers, one of the UK’s best known invoice factoring companies, recently opened an office at Archer House on Northbourne Road, Eastbourne.

The business moved from its origin in Caerphilly to a more prestigious address in Gold Tops, Newport, less than 12 months ago. That move was to both accommodate more staff and reflect the business’ standing within the industry. The move to Eastbourne demonstrates a continued commitment to investment from Simply Factoring Brokers director, Steven Adams.

The Eastbourne branch is headed up by Tim Player, one of the most experienced invoice factoring consultants in the UK. Tim spent many years working with funders and developed a relationship with Simply Factoring and Steven Adams that meant he was more than happy to come across when Steven offered him the chance to work as a broker.

Tim is joined by Seb Hayward, in Eastbourne with two additional brokers due to arrive in the next four weeks. The team is growing rapidly to cope with the increased demands for invoice factoring services, which is primarily emerging from businesses in London and the South East.

When asked why there is such a resurgent demand for invoice factoring services Steven Adams said:

“Unlike the historical image of invoice factoring, where businesses used the facility as a last resort solution, shrewd finance directors are increasingly aware that invoice factoring facilitates growth. Add to that the fact that risk is offset because funders will absorb the cost of invoices to an agreed limit if a business’ debtor becomes insolvent.“

Further expansion to Manchester is also planned in the form of a new office set to open later in 2016, with August earmarked, but at the current growth rate, Mr. Adams expects demand to dictate a move to take place close to June, possibly July. Business development managers Phil Smith and Daniel Morgan-Jones will attend this year’s Northern Business Expo, which will take place this week on 14th and 15th in Manchester to present the business in a face-to-face setting for the first time.
