Acting on behalf of Water Lane Ltd, Wilton Developments has acquired the freehold of a 75 acre (30.7 hectares) development site at Junction 47 of the M1 at Garforth, Leeds.
Jason Stowe, managing director of Wilton Developments, said: “This is a purchase of a site which has permission to deliver large scale development and is potentially significantly important to the growth and development of the wider East Leeds area.
“We have appointed Nathaniel Lichfield and Partners to advise us on the various planning options for the site, it is our intention to bring forward a quality scheme for the area.
“Wilton has a strong track record of bringing sites forward for development and we look forward to working closely with Leeds City Council and other stakeholders to achieve this aim.”
The Leeds office of CBRE has been retained to provide Real Estate advice to Wilton on the site.
