Award-winning motor finance company appoints Marketing Director
The UK’s largest motor finance broker, Evolution Funding, has appointed Sheffield branding agency owner Sarah Simpkins as its Group Marketing Director.
Sarah, aged 39, was invited to join the company on a permanent basis having delivered them with creative and marketing services through her branding agency Tonik.
She has spent her entire career in the design, print and marketing sector and first met Evolution’s director Jeremy Levine 12 years ago through business networking in Sheffield. Tonik is credited with the branding and marketing of several of Evolution’s businesses and became an integral part of each brand’s expansion plans.
The senior appointment follows a period of growth in which the firm was named ‘F&I Broker of the Year 2015’, listed in the Investec Mid-Market 100, a ranking of the UK’s fastest-growing private companies, and identified as one of London Stock Exchange’s ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’ in both 2015 and 2016.
Sarah said: “It was a huge decision to pass Tonik on to new owners but I am proud that I have been able to build up an agency in just three years that is worthy of passing on.
“Evolution is an extremely exciting company to be involved with. I have watched them grow and flourish over the past few years and I’m looking forward to supporting them in their ambitious future plans through my new role.”
