Warrington housebuilder Eccleston secures land for 15-home development
Cheshire housebuilder Eccleston Homes has acquired land in Greater Manchester for the development of more than a dozen new properties.
The Warrington-based firm is looking to build 15 detached four-bedroom homes on the two-acre site, located off East Lancashire Road in Worsley, near Salford.
Work on the development, which will be known as Worsley Meadow and include plans for public space siding onto the new houses, is due to begin this summer.
The site is Eccleston’s seventh in Greater Manchester.
The firm’s managing director, Kevin Marren, said: “We’re delighted to have secured the Worsley site for our next development, with its open land aspect yet close proximity to Manchester city centre transport links.
“The area demands luxury family homes and we are hopeful our high specification properties will tick all the boxes for homeowners and be as popular as our South Manchester development, Kingsleigh Manor.”
Eccleston has forecast strong interest in the project due to the proximity of the £122m Manchester Guided Busway.
