Bruno Brookes’ Immedia pens radio deal with Subway
Media Group Immedia, founded by British radio presenter Bruno Brookes, has unveiled more details about its radio deal with international brand Subway.
The digital audio content provider has signed a five-year contract with the Subway-owned non-profit organisation European Independent Purchasing Company Limited (EPIC), to provide seven in-store music marketing channels dubbed Subway Radio.
As part of the contract, Immedia will provide all in-store equipment and offer region-specific content to Subway stores in the UK and Republic of Ireland, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Finland and Sweden, including language-specific marketing.
Immedia will deliver Subway Radio through its Immedia Dreamstream network, with a mix of music, branding and Subway marketing based on national and regional campaigns.
With over 3400 stores within the relevant territories, the media group will derived revenue from an annual subscription fee from each participating franchise as well as through the supply of Dreamstream equipment.
Bruno Brookes, Chief Executive Officer of Immedia, said: “We are delighted to be working with the Subway brand and EIPC and look forward to adding a new dimension to the already superb Subway store experience.”
Simon Aldred, Director of Services and Equipment at EIPC, added: “Working with Subway stores and Immedia, we’re pleased to provide a high quality in store radio solution for Subway Franchisees across many European countries.
“Immedia have a strong understanding of the needs of Subway Franchisees which has helped them design and deliver a solution that supports Subway branding and marketing messages both nationally and regionally, driving real financial benefits.”
