Stockport business scores triple award nomination
AN award-winning Stockport-based business has been nominated for three top industry accolades.
Valour Finance Group, located in Tiviot Dale, has been shortlisted for a hat-trick of prizes at the prestigious Credit Today awards.
The firm, which was named Business of the Year at last year’s Stockport Business Awards, is a finalist in three categories: Best Fundraising or Volunteering Campaign Award, Treating Customers Fairly Award and Best Alternative Lender Award for their brand Savvy.co.uk.
The nominations recognise Valour’s commitment to offering clients the very best service as well as its dedication to help others.
Mark Bowker, CEO of Valour Financial Group, said: “We are honoured to have been shortlisted for these awards. It is testament to the hard work of the team that we are the first firm to be nominated across three different categories and no matter what the outcome I am hugely proud of all involved.”
Valour Finance Group was established more than 10 years ago as a group of privately owned companies all operating within the financial technology sector.
Over the last decade the firm has grown rapidly and now boasts Savvy.co.uk, MoneyHotshot.com, claimpeople.co.uk and Valour Financial Management as part of its brand.
As well as growing the business, the firm is renowned for its commitment to charity. In addition to regular dress down days and fundraising drives, all Valour Finance Group staff are offered 16 hours paid leave to work for their favourite charity in the local community.
Mark said: “We are committed to driving forward the business by investing in the latest innovations to make life better for our clients. However, we also want to make a real difference in our local community so we encourage all our staff to play an active role in our charity initiatives.”
The Credit Today Awards take place on May 12, 2016 at the Grosvenor Hotel in Park Lane, London.
