Dealers and manufacturers sign up to new motorshow

A host of dealers and manufacturers have signed up for the inaugural Motorshow Live! at this year’s Cholmondeley Power and Speed.

Taking place on the Friday, this all-new element of the popular motorsport event will give car manufacturers the opportunity to demonstrate their latest models on track, while enabling guests to test drive in a unique racing environment.

Already committed to this exciting development are Lexus, Blue Bell BMW and Holdcroft Honda, with Oakmere Motor Group also set to showcase their latest models from Lotus, Morgan and Caterham.

James Hall, event director said: “Motorshow Live! offers manufacturers and dealerships the chance to give a hands-on experience to their guests, seeing first-hand what makes our track special in some truly great cars. We commissioned a survey to understand the levels of interest in this new element of the event and were astonished by the response and appetite from the public to test drive cars at Cholmondeley.

“Driving cars on the famous Cholmondeley course will be a great way to engage customers and will add to the thrilling action already set to appear over the weekend.”

Each participant will have 50 laps on track for VIPs, journalists or potential clients, in addition to an exhibition space within the paddock throughout the three-day event, car entry into the supercar class and a number of complimentary guest tickets.

Cholmondeley Power and Speed is this year celebrating supercars past, present and future with stunning displays and thrilling on-track action. The activity will give attendees the chance to get up close and personal to some of the most powerful, eye-catching and revered supercars in the world.

Additional features and content on land, air and water will be announced over the coming weeks, with all elements of the event once again set against the stunning backdrop of Cholmondeley Castle and its beautiful parkland.

Adult tickets are priced from £22 and children’s tickets are free if purchased before 30th April 2016.
