UC EXPO reports record attendance figures

Communications and collaboration event UC EXPO attracted a record number of attendees during its 2016 installment, held earlier this month at the London Olympia.

The event’s organisers have revealed that UC EXPO 2016 attracted 5,496 visitors, which represents a year-on-year increase of 16% and is 45% more than in 2014.

Now in its 11th year, the latest UC EXPO outing saw more than 80 seminars delivered, with the managing director of collaboration architecture at multinational tech firm Cisco, Marianne Calder, among the roster of keynote speakers.

Also speaking at this year’s event were Thomas Davies, the EMEA region director of Google for Work, and telecoms giant Vodafone’s head of product management Peter Terry Brown.

Commenting on the growth in attendee figures, UC EXPO’s director for strategy, Bradley Maule-ffinch, said: “We are extremely pleased with the success of UC EXPO this year.

“The high turnout of delegates, which we have seen increase year on year, shows the value that UC EXPO brings to the field of unified communications and collaboration.”

He added: “We’re planning to continue that enthusiasm and growth at UC EXPO 2017.”
