Dow Schofield Watts expands with new wealth advisory business
Independent business advisory group Dow Schofield Watts has expanded its offer with the launch of a wealth planning business.
The new firm, Dow Schofield Watts Wealth Advisory LLP, will focus on creating and developing personal financial strategies to allow individuals to strengthen and safeguard their financial future.
As part of its services, the company will co-ordinate and project manage the work of other professionals, such as tax advisors, investment managers and solicitors.
The launch of Dow Schofield Watts Wealth Advisory LLP coincides with the appointment of Richard Speight, who has joined the Daresbury- and Leeds-based company in the role of partner.
Richard, a certified financial planner, previously worked for professional services firm Grant Thornton UK LLP.
Dow Schofield Watts’ co-founder, James Dow, said: “I am delighted to welcome Richard to Dow Schofield Watts, I have been very impressed with Richard’s enthusiasm from our very first meeting.
“Richard is bringing a skill-set which is entirely complementary to our activities as we continue to develop our offer as adviser of first-choice to owner managers, entrepreneurs and high net worth investors”.
Commenting on his appointment, Richard said he is “delighted” to have joined Dow Schofield Watts to develop its new wealth advisory business.
He said: “We are focused on our clients’ and providing an attentive service; we want to develop long lasting relationships and take great pride in our transparent and proactive approach.”
