£1.25m Residential Project ‘Liquid Gold’ For DL Rhodes & Son
A Nottingham construction firm is celebrating a £1.25m contract win to develop 24 high specification apartments in the Jewellery Quarter to satisfy Birmingham’s high demand for luxury accommodation.
DL Rhodes & Son is facilitating the development of 13 two bed and 11 one bed apartments, on behalf of Trigram Properties, on Carver Street as part of regeneration plans to attract young professionals to the thriving and dynamic Jewellery Quarter.
The six month development, which began in January will also include a ground floor retail/commercial unit of 680 sq ft with the two floors of apartments above, this will be built together with 26 car parking spaces.
Nigel Rhodes, managing director at DL Rhodes & Son said: “We are delighted to announce our involvement in this project with Trigram Properties in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham. We have had a very good relationship with the firm for a long time and after Bill Houle asked us to have a look at the site, we were able to offer reassurance to complete the job.”
“The project is on course and we are very much looking forward to finished product and believe all parties will be very happy with the work.”
The apartments will be sold as off plan investments, as buy-to-let or buy-to-live units via Prosperity.
Bill Houle, managing director at Trigram Properties said: “Carver street regeneration has provided a unique opportunity to develop out on major improvement works happening in parts of the Jewellery Quarter. Schemes like this are an excellent opportunity to be involved with, especially when there is strong confidence of demand and growth in the area.
“Trigram Properties has a long and trusting relationship with DL Rhodes & Son as the firm has continued to deliver and exceed expectations on every project.”
