Jan Helps CASE get Recognised

Local charity CASE Training is sporting smart new lanyards thanks to promotional goods and branded clothing specialist Recognition Express Hull.

Recognition Express owner Jan Chidley met Steve Rusling, marketing manager for CASE at their recent business event. She noticed that the CASE staff were wearing their identity cards on an assortment of different carriers and offered to produce CASE branded lanyards for the charity.

CASE Training is dedicated to improving the life choices of people with a learning disability living in Hull and the immediate East Riding of Yorkshire. Based in central Hull in recently refurbished premises, it provides support to Adults (16 years+) with mild to moderate learning disabilities who may also have associated physical, sensory and mental disabilities. CASE trainees enjoy a range of training, personal development and social activities underpinned by extensive welfare support which extends to families and carers.

Said Jan: “I really liked what I heard about CASE and wanted to help in some way. As my business specialises in manufacturing and sourcing branded items and clothing it made sense for me to organise and donate the lanyards for them.”

Added CASE marketing manager Steve Rusling: “It’s important for the staff to wear identity badges so that the people coming to train here can easily see who they need to go to. We love our smart new lanyards which are being worn by the staff in our charity shops and volunteers too. They make us look more professional and because they are clearly branded trainees can recognise CASE staff with just one glance.”
