Transport planning firm relocates to Queens House in Leeds

Transport planning firm Fore Consulting has secured new office space at Queens House in Wellington Street, Leeds.

The Leeds office of property consultancy Knight Frank advised developer Abstract Securities on the letting.

Fore Consulting has taken 1,130 sq ft of high-quality office space at 34 Wellington Street in the centre of the city’s professional quarter, paying £19 per sq ft on a five-year lease.

There is currently 2,209 sq ft of refurbished office space available to rent on the ground and first floors of the five-storey building.

Sam Jamieson of Knight Frank commented: “We are delighted to have concluded this significant letting at Queens House. Prominently located in central Leeds, this is a landmark building, providing ideal working space, value and excellent amenities nearby.

“The Aire Street entrance to Leeds City Station is less than a minute away, whilst the flourishing Trinity Leeds Shopping Centre, with its tremendous mix of retail and leisure facilities, is close by.”

Paul Irwin of Fore Consulting added: “Since our launch five years ago in 2011, Fore has focused on the transport and development planning market which has seen the business grow significantly.

“The team has expanded to 18 staff, with offices in both Leeds and Newcastle, where we have established a team of three professionals. In 2016, Fore’s turnover is likely to exceed £1.25m and the recent addition of Infrastructure services will help to continue to drive the business forward and deliver some of the recent planning successes on the ground.

“Our recent move to Queens House in Leeds is due to this growth, having outgrown our previous space at offices in nearby Queen Street.

“The Leeds office of Knight Frank was recommended to us by a close contact. We were looking for a modern open-plan and self-contained office with a conference room. We wanted to be in a building well-located in the city centre close to the railway station as well as to many of our clients and collaborators.”
