Durham wealth management firm targets medical market

Durham-based Arc Wealth Limited, a family-run wealth management firm, has launched a business consultancy service for medical professionals within the North East.

Broadening its offering from wealth management and financial planning to private and corporate clients, the firm has expanded its services to offer additional business services to NHS professionals and private consultants.

Already working with clients within the medical profession, the business found there was a niche in the holistic service they were offering to clients. Now the firm will develop a consultancy led approach to clients within the medical sector.

The addition of Business Development Managers, Mark Tootill and his colleague John Duthie who have previously worked for Wesleyan providing financial services to Doctors and Dentists have ensured the business is well positioned within its new marketplace.

Working alongside the Marketing department, the business consultancy team will be offering practice led financial planning workshops and CPD events to NHS Trusts, Local Medical Committees (both Doctors and Dentists) and GP Practice Managers.

Andrew Chambers, Managing Director said: “Having worked with a number of clients within the medical/healthcare sector and it soon became apparent there was a need for additional advice in the medical sector.

“We understand most doctors and dentists are busy running practices and often struggle to find the time to manage their finances effectively both personally and for the business. There are a number of complexities within their profession with regards to finances, experience in providing specialist, tailored advice.”

He added: “With the constant changes within the NHS we believe the time is right for medical professionals.”
