Agency Stands Up to Bullying with Strictly Star

~~A leading Yorkshire-based agency has collaborated with sports celebrity Ben Cohen MBE to stand up to bullying.

Bluestone98, a design, branding, digital and web agency, operating across the UK with its head office in Harrogate, worked with the former England International rugby player and Strictly Come Dancing star’s StandUp Foundation.

The Ben Cohen StandUp Foundation is the world’s first foundation dedicated to raising awareness of the long-term, damaging effects of bullying by connecting communities and raising funds to support those doing real-world work to stop it.

Jonathan Armstead, founder and managing director of bluestone98, said: “It’s crucial for Ben’s cause to engage meaningfully with a wide audience – schools, workplaces, in sport, online and in the community at large - where bullying can take place. The Foundation’s aim is to fund organisations who tackle bullying, so the website and brand are an essential tool.”

Bluestone98 supported the Foundation with a full brand refresh and new responsive website which will help generate donations and create awareness both on and offline.

Ben began the foundation in response to the death of his father, he said: “I lost my own father to violence when he stood up for an employee who was being attacked. I’ve heard from many people how bullying has adversely impacted their lives. Parents have shared painful stories of bullying their children have experienced. Others have been bullied in the workplace or for their gender or sexual orientation. These stories move me to StandUp for what is right.”

To date, the Ben Cohen StandUp Foundation has supported over 43 charities and organisations.

Jonathan added: “As an agency, we are whole-heartedly behind Ben’s mission and wanted to do justice to his passion with this life-changing, sometimes life-saving work. We pride ourselves on crafting great British design with heart and soul so it was a privilege to put those skills to such an important cause. We look forward to working with Ben going forward to develop the foundation’s continued success.”

With satellite offices in London and Edinburgh, bluestone98 clients include small artisan enterprises to blue chip companies.
