WorkMobile set to triple turnover

Manchester-based WorkMobile, the mobile data capture specialist, is on track to more than triple its turnover by next year, as part of its major plans for growth.

The company, which creates bespoke workflow solutions to replace paper forms, reported a turnover of £1.2 million last year and has ambitious plans to increase this to £4 million by the end of the next financial year. The firm also plans to double its entire workforce to 36 by 2017 and invest further in international markets.

The team has already experienced significant growth with the appointment of CEO, Andrew Huntly. Andrew has extensive international sales and marketing experience and will be implementing a sales-led transformation programme within the company. His role at WorkMobileâ will see him lead the commercial direction of the business, identifying new market opportunities both locally and internationally.

Alongside this, the team has benefitted from the addition of two new apprentices, brought in through the firm’s dedicated apprenticeship scheme. Hamzah Qureshi and Jonathan Royle have joined the company as commercial apprentices and will be undertaking a variety of tasks in the administrative and commercial areas of the business. They will play a key role in supporting the planned sales-led growth.

Since WorkMobile’s inception in 2011, it has already handled more than 10 million completed forms for its extensive portfolio of clients such as Carillion, United Utilities and Oxfam. As part of its growth strategy, the company is already expanding into South Africa and South Asia, working closely with its international growth partner UKTI.

Dr Moneeb Awan, managing director at WorkMobile, said: “This is an exciting time for WorkMobile and we have ambitious plans to expand the business this year. To reach our goals, our main focus will be on expanding our sales channels and partnerships here in the UK, while also branching out into international markets.

“We’ve already grown the team and we’re keen to further harness fresh, local talent for our Manchester headquarters, as well as in our new international locations. Our mantra remains unchanged, WorkMobile is an innovative service coupled with exceptional customer experience, provided by highly skilled, locally-based teams.”
