Rotherham welcomes new concept UK Coffee Shop
A local independently ran eatery has unveiled a new coffee shop in the heart of Parkgate Shopping Centre.
Directors of The Interesting Eating Company in Liverpool, Nichola Lee and Andrea Edwards, have created an in-house coffee shop and eatery housed within of the 45,000 sq. ft. UK Outdoor Clearance site.
UK Coffee Shop has opened its doors to the public to provide savvy shoppers with a unique selection of delicious food and barista beverages.
Nichola said: “We are thrilled to create a completely new and exciting brand in the form of UK Coffee Shop. Since setting up The Interesting Eating Company back in 2012, we have been keen to extend our offerings and maximise our customer reach, and the new brand will certainly mirror our ethos of great food, delicious drink and outstanding service.
“Our research into the area of Rotherham has provided us with a great insight into customers’ eating and shopping habits, and we are certain that the venue will become the perfect pit stop for those wanting to relax and unwind after a busy day of retail therapy. The aim is to deliver a unique café experience in the heart of one of Rotherham’s most bustling shopping locations and we are looking forward to welcoming visitors from across the town.“
In line with its passion for good food, UK Coffee Shop sources its products from like-minded food and drink creators.
Andrea added: “It’s fantastic to have opened our doors to the Rotherham public and to unveil a new menu that has been specially devised for the venue. From light bites to more hearty meals, together with quality barista beverages, there’s certainly something for everybody to enjoy.
“Our expansion from Liverpool to Rotherham is a great example of what small, independent businesses have to offer, and it gives us a great sense of pride to have filled a gap in the market. The affiliation has already created a number of local jobs, and we look forward to seeing what we can go on to achieve together in the future.“
