Everton FC legends open Foster Care Associates’ new Liverpool office
Independent fostering agency Foster Care Associates has established a new base in Liverpool after snapping up space at Meridian Business Village.
Having signed up for a 2,695 sq ft unit at the Hunts Cross business park on a 10-year lease, the firm’s bosses marked the opening of the new office alongside former Everton FC stars Graeme Sharp and Ian Snodin.
The Hunts Cross base, which joins a UK-wide network of 50 offices, will service an area encompassing Liverpool, Wirral, St Helens, Widnes and Warrington.
The company’s fostering service manager, Sandra Mooney, commented: “We chose Meridian Business Village because it is in a very good location for us with ready access to the motorway network covering the whole of our Merseyside region.
“It is an attractive park and a nice place to work.”
The deal with Foster Care Associates was secured by Liverpool-based developer Prospect GB.
Chris Walker, who heads up Prospect GB’s commercial division, said: “We are delighted to welcome the UK’s largest independent fostering agency to Meridian Business Village.
“The business park has been very popular amongst start-ups and expanding SMEs, but it has also attracted established national names like Foster Care Associates.”
He added: “The company is the latest of many tenants who have recognised the advantages of our excellent strategic location within minutes of the M57, M58, M62 and M6.”
Speaking further, Chris said a limited number of units ranging from 1,313 sq ft up to 5,390 sq ft are still available at Meridian Business Village.
