University of Bolton supports Industry event

The inaugural Business of Science Conference taking place in Manchester on Thursday has gained sponsorship support from a top UK university.

The University of Bolton is the seventh sponsor to affirm its support for the one-day event which aims to highlight how the development and commercialisation of science is driving growth across the whole of the North.

As a University dedicated to giving our students the opportunity of an extraordinary future, it is important to show continued commitment to a growing industry which they will venture into after they leave university.”

Steve Bennett, managing director of Science North Limited, the organiser and host of the event, said: “We are thrilled to have the University of Bolton sponsor the Business of Science. It’s clear to see the university is making substantial investments into its world class science facilities and so we’re delighted they are supporting the conference.”
