Space strengthens client service team
Space has strengthened its client service team with the appointment of Anna Roberts as group account director.
Anna brings over seven years of integrated experience to Space including a client-side role at Sky followed by agency positions at RPM and, most recently, BD Network.
During her career, she has worked with a number of leading brand owners including Diageo, ABInbev and Heinz.
At Space, Anna will be responsible for leading the agency’s work across client Arla Foods UK, creating and delivering integrated solutions across Cravendale, Cocio and Arla Best of Both.
Space has worked with Arla, the UK’s leading dairy company, for the past 4 years. It developed last December’s Arla White Wednesdays campaign, raising awareness of Arla as a farmer-owned business, and earlier this year helped launch Arla Best of Both, the dairy industry’s first yellow topped skimmed milk that tastes as good as semi-skimmed. It has also recently been awarded work on the Starbucks Ready to Drink range, which is produced and sold by Arla Foods, and Cravendale, the UK’s No.1 branded milk.
Anna will report in to David Atkinson, managing partner, and joins the leadership team to help drive the agency’s growth.
Space has also made a number of other client service appointments on the back of recent growth including Andrew Thatcher, account director, and Jayne Edwards, account manager. Both Andrew and Jayne join Space from Blue Chip Marketing.
These appointments follow last month’s announcement of Greg McAlinden as the new creative director.
Anna Roberts comments: “I am delighted to be part of the team here at Space and to be given the responsibility for one of its most valued clients. I have been hugely impressed with their work across the Arla Foods UK portfolio and the talented team behind it. I look forward to strengthening our relationship with Arla and delivering creative solutions that continue to build their business.”
David Atkinson adds: “We have a simple yet clear purpose at Space; to move people to choose our clients’ brands. This is really resonating not only with Arla but across our whole client portfolio as we continue to be given increased responsibility. For us to continue this momentum and to meet our clients’ needs, it’s vitally important that we have the best people in place. We’re very excited about these recent appointments and the potential they all have to grow our clients’ business “
