Rotherham United sign new away kit sponsorship deal
Rotherham United has announced the signing of a new sponsorship deal with Apogee Limited.
The Championship club’s new light blue away kit will feature the name of Apogee Limited emblazoned on the front of the shirt throughout the 2016/17 season.
The independent managed services provider of print, document and process technology across the UK and Europe acquired previous away shirt sponsors Balreed.
Steve coakley, Rotherham United’s commercial director, said: “The club are very excited to add Apogee to our growing portfolio of commercial partners and we are looking forward to what I am sure will be a successful relationship.
“We are continuing to make great strides commercially as we get ready for our return for another season in the Championship, and this is another great partnership with a market leading company.”
Richard Brewin , director of Apogee, added:“Under the Balreed brand last season we received fabulous media coverage, both nationally and internationally, via our corporate presence on the front of the shirt and we are delighted to secure a deal for a further season so that Apogee can continue to reap the many benefits of what the sponsorship provided.
“Since acquiring Balreed, Apogee has continued to grow and is now a Europe-wide business but still value working with local organisations such as Rotherham United. I look forward to developing the long-standing relationship we established as Balreed.”
