Alliance Manchester Business School climbs globally to reach 36th in the Financial Times Executive Education rankings
Alliance Manchester Business School has climbed 12 places in the Financial Times Executive Education rankings, placing its executive education 36th in the world, whilst ranking 6th in the UK and 19th in Europe.
The rise establishes Alliance MBS as the top business school to offer executive education outside of the South of the UK and one of the biggest climbers globally, demonstrating the School’s commitment to providing a level of excellence in business education.
With its international team of world-leading academics and industry experts, Alliance MBS provides executive education courses to leading businesses internationally, across the UK and within the Greater Manchester region.
The programme partners Alliance MBS with clients to develop unique executive education courses for employees that inspire leaders, change cultures and transform organisations.
Alliance MBS has worked in partnership with global blue-chip and public sector organisations; including BP, BAE Systems, NHS, MITIE and the Chinese Ministry of Finance, where tailored programmes achieved effective business changes which led to business-wide impacts. Results include reassessing and restructuring management culture, improved profitability across the business, and an increase in staff engagement.
The Financial Times’ dedicated list, noted support provided to the clients and their employees after completion of the programme and the learning environment facilities as Alliance MBS’ top performing criteria.
Jane Crombleholme, Head of Executive Education commented: “The ranking demonstrates our commitment to delivering excellent business education on a global scale to our clients.
“It is an exciting time for executive education here at Alliance MBS. In the past year we have expanded our global offering and our international team of world-leading academics and industry experts now provide programmes from our international centres in Dubai and Singapore.”
“We have also launched a new suite of open programmes that includes the Manchester Leadership Development Programme.
“Future delegates will be able to benefit from our impressive new facilities when, next year, we open the doors on our new executive development centre and hotel at the heart of the Oxford Road corridor here in Manchester.”
Dil Sidhu, Chief External Officer at Alliance MBS said: “The ranking truly reflects Alliance MBS’ dedication to driving forward our offering to provide the highest quality executive education in the UK and globally.
“We’re proud of the contribution we can have to business growth within the North West, whilst preparing organisations for the many opportunities the Northern Powerhouse initiative will bring to the region.
“As we prepare for increased investment in the north, companies want their staff to acquire new skills and methods to ensure that their teams remain strong. From this we see a lot of organisations using executive education to build agile and adaptive leadership strategies to help empower professionals to lead during times of increased pressure and changing markets.
“At Alliance Manchester Business School, we have a ‘hand in glove’ approach when working with different companies to ensure our executive education programmes reflects the aims and objectives of a particular organisation.
“We encourage professionals who have been on our executive education programmes to see themselves as teachers, too, placing emphasis on the importance of sharing knowledge within teams whilst understanding and analysing their own experiences.”
