Close Brothers Motor Finance to establish 1,780 sq ft base in Sale
North West vehicle finance provider Close Brothers Motor Finance is set to establish a new base in Greater Manchester.
The company has signed up for 1,780 sq ft of space at the Jackson House office site in Sale on a 10-year lease.
Jackson House, a 100,000 sq ft office building located off Washway Road, already counts management and property consultancy AA Project, law firm Ralli Solicitors, logistics company CHEP UK, debt support business Harrington Brooks and the UK arm of tech giant IBM among its occupants.
Following the deal, which was secured by property company Commercial Estate Group (CEG), Jackson House has 24,000 sq ft of space remaining.
Greg Lacey, an investment manager with CEG, said of the letting: “The Sale market remains very competitive, with many deals being done around the sub 5,000 sq ft mark.
“Close Brothers were attracted to Jackson House because of the central location of the building, competitive rental costs, availability of secure on-site car parking and the quality feel of the building.”
South Yorkshire-based advice firm Property Professionals acted for Close Brothers during the transaction.
David Powell, the director of Property Professionals, commented: “Jackson House appealed to Close Brothers Motor Finance because of the local facilities around the building, yet only being a few minutes drive from the M60 even at peak times.
“They were impressed with the prestigious feel to the building, especially given the rental costs and the pragmatic attitude of the building owners.”
Savills and Canning O’Neill are Jackson House’s joint letting agents.
