Jet2.com has expanded its presence at Leeds Bradford Airport after leasing a 54,866sq ft unit.
Bilfinger GVA, the commercial real estate adviser, let a substantial unit at Yorkshire’s largest airport, on behalf of Learmonth Property Investment Company.
James Hill, director at Learmonth Property Investment Company, said: “Our estate directly adjoining Leeds Bradford Airport presented a logical location for Jet2’s development, and we are delighted that they chose this site to fulfil their requirement.”
Rob Oliver, industrial director at Bilfinger GVA in Yorkshire, added: “This estate provides good quality, well-located accommodation at a competitive rental level. The fact that it is a secure site, with a 24/7 manned gatehouse and CCTV, and has a flexible range of unit sizes within it, has always helped to attract new occupiers.
“Units 6, 7 and 8 have recently become available, and offer a very rare opportunity to lease larger space in the Leeds area, as they can provide up to 370,000sq ft. We are also able to provide individual units from around 85,000sq ft.”
Bilfinger GVA and Gent Visick acted as joint letting agents for the landlord. Richard Ashmore of RA Real Estate acted on behalf of Jet2.
