BT calls on Rotherham’s Parseq with new B2B services contract
Parseq, the Rotherham-headquartered provider of customer communication services, has been awarded a new contract with BT.
As part of the new deal, Parseq will provide the telecommunications giant with sales centre support.
The extension to the current partnership with BT will see Parseq provide specialist B2B services for the telecommunications brand from its Glasgow offices.
In addition to the contract win, the firm now plans to invest further in Glasgow’s jobs market by boosting its 250 seat contract centre operation in the city with the creation of 35 new roles.
Graham Stein, managing director of Parseq’s contact centre business, said: “We’re delighted to achieve a multi-site partnership with BT and the creation of further employment and investment within Glasgow.
“This month marks our first anniversary at the International Financial Services District. When we arrived we made a pledge to grow the career opportunities available for the local workforce and I’m pleased to say 12 months on that’s exactly what we’ve been able to achieve and it’s a commitment which will continue as we win more business and grow our Scottish operation.”
The firm employs more than 2,500 nationally and represents blue-chip brands, including the top ten international banks, a third of the country’s utility sector and has a significant presence within financial and insurance services.
Stein added: “This is one of a raft of new business wins we’ll be announcing over the coming months as we continue to grow our presence in Glasgow. This success is testament to the hard work and dedication of our employees and the business’ unique approach to providing multi-channel customer communication services.
“Here’s to the next 12 months.”
