Sunderland AFC land five year deal with French outfit
Sunderland AFC has revealed a five-year extended partnership with Lagardère Sports, a French sports marketing agency.
The deal will continue until at least 2021, with the company continuing its role as the club’s exclusive perimeter advertising agency, which they have occupied since 2008.
As part of the partnership with Sunderland AFC, Lagardère Sports will provide a full TV arc LED perimeter system at the club’s Stadium of Light.
Gary Hutchinson, Sunderland AFC’s commercial director, said: “We are really pleased to extend a strong partnership and we look forward to exploring new areas of innovation with Lagardère Sports in the future as we develop our global growth plans with on and off field activities.”
“We have worked with Lagardère Sports for a number of years and during that time they have helped improve the club’s global growth as a market leader in their field and we are proud to be continuing this relationship into 2021.”
Carl Woodman, Managing Director of Lagardere Sports’ UK Football division, added: “We are delighted to have extended our partnership with Sunderland AFC and look forward to having them within our portfolio of top class football clubs for many years to come. “
