Canadian coffee chain Second Cup continues UK expansion with opening of Harrow café
Canadian coffee brand Second Cup Coffee Company has officially opened its newest UK café at Harrow St. Ann’s Shopping Centre in Harrow.
Now open for business, the new café features a preview of Second Cup’s upcoming summer drink promotion ‘Be Wild’ and is set to introduce its Master Crafted Signature Tea program for the first time in the UK.
The Master Crafted Signature Tea program consists of whole leaf herbal, black, white and green teas.
The 2 storey, 1700 sq ft café seats approximately 67 guests and features the latest Second Cup UK design as seen in the Birmingham and Portobello Second Cup cafes.
Jim Ragas, president and CEO of The Second Cup Coffee Company Inc., said: “We are very happy to be growing in and around London and to introduce our UK guests to the Master Crafted Signature Tea program.
“We believe that steeping whole leaf teas redefines the tea drinking experience by creating a fuller, more complex flavour as enjoyed in tea gardens across the world, and look forward to introducing this program in our future UK cafes as well.
Franchise Partners Shereen and Shafin Jivraj added: “St. Ann’s is the perfect location for Harrow’s first Second Cup café!
“Whether you’re taking a break from shopping or just strolling by, we invite everyone to come in and try our signature drink creations, espresso-based beverages, premium tea selections, iced drinks, fresh juices, savoury sandwiches, fresh pastries, all natural frozen yogurt and other delicious treats. With so many choices, we have something special for all of our guests.”
Established in 1975 in Toronto, Ontario, Second Cup now operates in over 30 regions worldwide with over 160 cafes operating internationally.
