Redwell Country Inn near Carnforth goes on sale for £695k
Leisure property firm Fleurets has been chosen to market the freehold interest of Lancashire’s Redwell Country Inn for a guide price of £695k.
Based near Carnforth, the inn comprises a newly refurbished bar and restaurant with enough space for 70 guests and the ability to double as function space.
Redwell Country Inn also houses a two-bed private flat and seven en-suite letting bedrooms that were refurbished and launched at the end of 2014.
Further the site, currently owned by Sue and Dennis Talbot, is home to food business Lune Valley Smokehouse.
Lesley Watmough, Fleurets’ divisional director, said: “This unique operation is situated in the heart of the Lune Valley; so the Smokehouse is aptly named.
“The property offers a potential buyer scope to further develop the wholesale and retail sales aspect of the business.”
The property is believed to date back to 1640, when it was a working farm. Since then it has served a number of uses, including an auction room, disco venue and courthouse.
