Latest Arsenal deal builds on existing “successful partnership” with Betfair
Arsenal have announced a renewal and expansion of their ongoing partnership with online gambling firm Betfair.
The new deal, lasting until 2019, sees Betfair become the Gunners’ official betting partner across the UK, Europe and both South and Central America.
The agreement will increase Betfair’s brand presence at the club’s home games and provide additional matchday hospitality for clients and customers.
Vinai Venkatesham, the chief commercial officer at Arsenal, said: “We are delighted to be continuing our association with Betfair following a successful partnership to date.
“We look forward to working together to further engage Arsenal supporters in the UK, Europe, South America and Central America.”
Further, Betfair will be able to access Arsenal players for marketing purposes and engage fans across AFC’s various online and social media platforms.
Paul Gambrill, the marketing and brand director at Betfair, which recently merged with fellow gambling giant Paddy Power, commented: “We’re thrilled to be extending our contract with Arsenal, after a hugely successful first season with the club.
:Arsenal are a fantastic club and we look forward to engaging with their incredible fanbase again next season and beyond.“
